From there, we hit the trail, trekking through dense tropical jungle and along dramatic cliffs to discover a trilogy of stunning beaches: Playa Colomitos, Playa Madagascar, and Playa Las Ánimas. As we navigate the terrain, you will learn about the region's unique flora, fauna, and coastal history from a certified professional guide. We will pause at the famous Colomitos cove, where you can swim in its emerald waters and unwind. The trail evolves beautifully with the seasons: from July to January, you will hike under a lush, shaded canopy; from February to June, the landscape opens up into a crisp, dry tropical forest. At Playa Las Ánimas, we take a well-deserved rest at a highly-regarded beachfront restaurant where you can savor fresh local seafood (available for purchase). To conclude the adventure seamlessly, we bypass the return hike and cruise back to our starting point via a scenic water taxi ride. Along the way, we will share a curated selection of traditional Mexican sweets to celebrate the journey.
