Here, far from the crowds, you will discover the ancient history and cultural importance of the cacao plant while tasting a traditional cacao beverage and organic chocolate in a serene natural setting. Before entering the town, we make a brief, authentic stop at a roadside stand—a local secret—to taste traditional Mexican candies and fresh, seasonal fruits. In Sayulita, we bypass the superficial tourist spots. We will wander through vibrant streets and the artisan market to meet local creators, uncovering handmade pieces and living traditions. After exploring the historical lines of the main square and the local church, we sit down for lunch at Mary’s—a highly-regarded culinary landmark celebrated for its seafood and traditional Mexican flavors (with excellent vegan options thoughtfully available).
