Designed for couples, friends, or small families, this private Sayulita experience hosts up to three guests under a single booking, with the flexibility to enjoy Nayarit at your own pace and away from conventional tour crowds. Your day begins at one of our designated meeting points in Puerto Vallarta, where your certified guide will welcome you before traveling north in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Our first stop is a peaceful cacao garden, where you will learn about the cacao plant, its origins, legends, and cultural importance in Mexico. The visit includes a tasting that introduces you to cacao in different forms, from tropical fruit notes to rich chocolate flavors. Before entering Sayulita, we stop at a traditional roadside fruit stand, once an essential rest point on the long road between Tepic, Guadalajara, and Puerto Vallarta. Here, you will taste seasonal regional fruits and classic Mexican sweets. In Sayulita, we explore the town through its flavors: a crispy birria taco served on a red tortilla, a Nayarit-style marlin empanada, and refreshing aguas frescas. Then we visit Mary’s, one of Sayulita’s favorite small restaurants, known for seafood tacos with bold coastal flavor. Vegan and non-seafood options are available upon request. After lunch, enjoy a guided walk through Sayulita’s colorful streets, artisan market, and lively town center. Along the way, discover local art, handmade crafts, beach-town charm, and the region’s connection to Wixárika culture. To finish, you will have free time to shop, take photos, relax by the beach, or simply enjoy Sayulita’s vibrant atmosphere before returning comfortably to Puerto Vallarta.
